In accordance with the distance selling regulations, purchases made and paid for by credit card or other means may be cancelled within seven days of purchase in which case terms and conditions below regarding carriage will apply.
Orders can be accepted only to addresses within the UK mainland including Northern Ireland. Due to high costs we regret that we cannot deliver to Islands and due to regulations on plant exports and the perishable nature of the goods we very much regret that orders to destinations outside the UK cannot be accepted.
Goods are priced in sterling and the size and description will be clearly stated at the time of ordering. In the unlikely event that goods are not as described then Plants for Hedges, must be notified within 48 hours of receipt of the goods. Plants for Hedges will refund the carriage costs in this event but only if the plants are adequately re-packed and returned immedately. Any delay in returning the goods may result in a charge being made. Carriage costs of goods that are returned that are acccurately described will be at the cost of the purchaser and goods that are returned that are not adequately packed or re-saleable may result in a charge being made up to the vlaue of the goods. If notification is not made by email within 48 hours of receipt of the goods then the purchaser is deemed to be satisfied with the goods and no returns will be accepted or refunds made.
We aim to provide accurate information on our website and this and any other advice that is given, is provided in good faith and we cannot be held responsible for errors or omissions in data or photography. All information given is provided free of charge and does not constitute part of any contract bewteen the purchaser and seller.
We aim to dispatch goods within 48 hours of receipt of the order using a 48 hour delivery service but in the event that the item is out of stock or inclement weather prevents immediate dispatch you will be notified and given the option to cancel or amend your order. Deliveries will be attempted on three occasions and it is incumbent on the purchaser to ensure that they, or a neighbour are in a position to receive the goods. Please ensure that an address is given where someone will be available during working hours. If delivery has not been possible after three attempts then we reserve the right to charge a 50% re-stocking fee and if the goods are not fit for resale due to the dealys then the purchaser could be liable for the full cost of the goods and delivery.The above applies in the event that the purchaser has given the wrong or incomplete address at the time of ordering.
Please note that we take great pride in the quality and health of our plants but plants need to be cared for and should be planted and watered as soon as possible folllowing receipt. Regular watering and feeding of the plants is necessary even after planting, particularly in the spring and summer months. Plants will deteriorate quickly and may die if kept in the pots. They should be stood outside in the shade and watered daily until planting is done and we cannot under any circumstances be responsible for the subsequent death of plants as this is an event over which we have no control. If we are not notified in writing of any quality or health issue within 48 hours of receipt of the goods then the customers is deemd to be satisfied with the quality and health of the plants.
